A year-round schedule of special events keeps residents and visitors returning to The Promenade. The fun includes the live music that spans light jazz, reggae, classic oldies and Latin. There are also many fashion shows, festivals and fundraising events that you will encounter.
Art League Studios
Date: Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Time: 10 am - 3pm
Artist Studios are open and feature demonstration days in each of the studio spaces. Art League of Bonita Springs Artists include painters, sculptors, photographers and glass artists. New exhibitions, and artists, will occupy the studios every 30 to 60 days.

The Dan Miller Jazz Quintet

“Live At the Promenade!” The Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs is proud to present New York City jazz trumpeter Dan Miller (formerly with Harry Connick Jr., Maynard Furguson, Woody Herman and Wynton Marsalis) as he brings a powerfully swinging jazz quintet to the Center for the Arts. Playing a program of classic jazz music from the 1950s and 1960s, this group features world class jazz organist Jeff Phillips, guitarist Dan Heck, tenor saxophonist Gerald Augustin and drummer Ron Hefner. Learn to paint in one setting and have fun with friends at the same time no experience necessary. At Alla Prima, Alla Fun, painter Patty Kane will walk guests step, by step through the painting process. Join friends for pizza, wine and painting. Since Alla Prima is a style of completing a painting in one session, guests will have a masterpiece to take home with them at the end of the evening. The evening includes paint, brushes, canvas, aprons, wine, pizza and guidance. Guests bring an open mind, music CDs or iPods This week the painting selection is Koi Fish. “Nacho Game Show Murder” with THEY improv

“Live At the Promenade!” The Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs is proud to present THEY improv as they provide an evening of comedic murder mystery with the power of Nacho Cheese. The comedic actors interact with the audience as THEY prepare a game show for broadcast. The odd cast and crew have chips on their shoulders that lead to death. Our detective then walks the audience through finding the killer, who might get fried for his actions! This comedic farce is all in honor of National Day of the Nacho, which falls on October 21. Center for the Arts Studios at the Promenade in conjunction with Art in Public Places allows Center for the Arts Member artists — painters, sculptors, photographers and glass artists — to regularly display their work in various storefront locations at the center of the Promenade at Bonita Bay. Artists Studios are open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm each day and feature demonstrations in each of the studio spaces. New exhibitions, and artists, occupy the studios every 30 to 60 days. The last Thursday of each month kicks off a new group of artists and exhibitions in an evening Studio Walk, 4pm to 7pm, accompanied by musical entertainment. “American Idle” Written by Craig Sodaro

The Center for the Arts Youth Theater presents a play about Idle lives. In this production of “American Idle” written by Craig Sodaro, Dr. Bruno Slacker has been trying to find his way to Easy Street all his young life. Having pursued one harebrained scheme after another to get rich quick, he’s finally hit on a scheme he’s sure will work! Convinced Americans work and worry too much, Bruno claims that if they’d only become idle, they’d live longer. To prove his point, he invites eight ambitious subjects to spend a week in “Idle House,” his version of “Real World.” The eight contestants’ mission is to learn to live without goals.
